DESCRIPTION:
French Morbier, Comptoise, Morez 8 day weight driven repeating strike wall clock with alarm, c1830.
CONDITION:
appears complete but needs cleaning and restoration. Crown wheel escapement. White enamel dial has some cracks and dents. Large bell on top rings hours twice. Has gridiron pendulum and wood wall bracket. Movement alone is 15" high.
